This past weekend’s original plans were changed because the USMTS races down in Kansas/Missouri were canceled due to flooding. So Jeremy got to stay closer to home.
On Friday he was at Mississippi Thunder Speedway where there were 11 Modifieds in attendance. He started 2nd in his heat and finished 3rd. Started 6th in his feature and moved his way up to 2nd, passing a lot of good race cars.
On Saturday, Jeremy was originally going to go to Deer Creek Speedway but that also got canceled due to rain, so he headed over to Cedar Lake Speedway to get a little race testing in prior to the upcoming Masters race weekend with the USMTS. There were 18 Modifieds on hand. He started 5th in his heat and finished 3rd but his engine began to let go, so Jeremy had to end his night early.
Jeremy is going to take this next weekend off to get everything ready, and hopefully get his engine fixed, for The Masters at Cedar Lake Speedway June 16th-18th, where he will race for 3k on Thursday, 5k on Friday and 10k on Saturday. After how well he ran this past weekend, the team is very confident that Jeremy will have a successful weekend.
