We have customized onboarding programs that train each person individually to ensure they succeed based on their skillset as well as hosting group training sessions with our suppliers. North American Trailer constantly works to develop and improve the onboarding and training programs. Our training typically stems from a combination of on-the-job or in-person training at any one of our onsite repair facilities and a system in which we pair up new hires with experienced ones. North American Trailer works hard to retain valuable employees. We focus on identifying career paths and setting goals to help you get there from the get-go. The next generation
At North American Trailer, we realize the importance of teaching the next generation about careers and opportunities in the transportation industry. We partner with the TriDistrict CAPS program that focuses on providing opportunities to high school age kids interested in the transportation industry by welcoming students from local high schools to train in our facilities, hold classes weekly at our Inver Grove Heights facility and provide valuable hands on experience through our internship programs. We’ve even hired some of the students that were interns that are now full-time employees. We partner with local technical colleges to help spread the word about all of the career opportunities we have by attending career fairs. All of these programs and partnerships are designed to encourage and inspire the next generation to pursue careers in the transportation industry.
