Since our founding in 1982, we’ve been distributing quality branded parts, and providing sales and service for new and used trailers and tankers. That is over 40 Years of parts, service and sales to help others keep rolling at their best.

Founded by Don Balsimo/office located in Blaine

1985
Brue Barnhart and Don Balsimo become official partners with Balsimo bringing in Stoughton Trailers and the dry-freight business begins

1989
Company moves to South St. Paul upstairs from Thompson Motor and the company adds more personnel/added Heil Tank Trailers

1991
The repair shop was opened in Inver Grove Heights and a small parts department was formed to take care of the needs of the repair shop.
Added Fontaine Trailers and had a record year of sales, which allowed for the company to purchase a location on Concord Boulevard in Inver Grove Heights to start a tank repair shop.

2008
North American Trailer is purchased by Dean Dally.

2009
North American Trailer co-brands with Blaine Brothers and adds a new tank shop at the Cloquet facility.

2012
Opened a tank shop in Stanley, ND.

2016
State-of-the-industry facility built in Inver Grove Heights featuring 30 repair bays allowing us to offer more services and take care of more of our partners.

2020
North American Trailer co-brands with Blaine Brothers and adds a tank shop at the new Clearwater facility opens with expanded trailer tanker service.
