This past weekend we raced on Saturday at Ogilvie Raceway. There were 27 Modifieds in attendance. We won our heat from the 5th starting position. For the feature, we started 4th and took the lead at the halfway point. With 6 laps to go, we had caught up to lapped traffic and one of the lapped cars lost control of their car and stopped right in front of us. We had nowhere to go and ended up rear-ending them, sending us into a spin and into the wall. This sadly ended our night. Luckily, all of the damage was all cosmetic. It was very disappointing and frustrating as we had a very dominant car the whole night. But, we will spend the whole week getting everything back together and ready for the Great Lakes Border Battle at Gondik Law Speedway in Superior, WI for Thursday ($1,500 to win), Friday ($2,000 to win) and Saturday ($2,500). With how our car was this past weekend, we do not doubt that we will find success this weekend if we have a little luck on our side.
