This past weekend Jeremy competed at The Great Pumpkin Race at Mississippi Thunder Speedway on Friday and Saturday.
Friday there were 22 USRA Modifieds in attendance. Jeremy started 6th and finished 6th in his heat. Started 16th in the feature and was involved in an accident a few laps into the race that destroyed his body and messed up his front end. After the incident, he was able to hang on and finished 13th.
On Saturday there were 16 USRA Modifieds. His drawing skills were even worse and had to start 7th in a stacked heat race and Jeremy was only able to move up to 6th. In the feature, he started 11th and finished 10th. His car was really good in the feature and was running one of the fastest lap times the last half of the race but everything got spread out right away and it was hard to pass.
Jeremy will be taking the next couple of weeks off before he gets back at it at Ogilvie Raceway on October 21-22 for the Topless Nationals.
