What a weekend! Cedar Lake Speedway, ran things a little different this weekend. Instead of heat races, they just ran 2 qualifying laps.
Friday night, Dave Mass qualified 3rd out of 16 cars, which started him 3rd in the feature. After running second for most of the race, Dave got into lap traffic and was able to pass and win on night #1 of the Legendary Opener. Saturday night, Dave would qualify 1st out of 15 cars, which would put him on the pole for the feature. Dave would stay in first place and win night #2!
It was a great weekend!! This coming week is going to be a busy one, Dave is planning on working on the late model every night and practicing Friday and Saturday of next weekend in Fergus Falls to have it perfect for the following weekend (April 30th) when Fergus Falls opens with a doubleheader Friday and Saturday and Granite City Motorpark on Sunday night for their opener!!
